WELCOME to the Partnership for Commonsense Justice, a coalition of concerned businesses and business groups, non-profit associations and individuals dedicated to promoting and encouraging the fairness and excellence in Kentucky's legal system. The framers of our state and national constitutions endeavored to create three equal branches of government, endowing them with responsibilities that would provide for a system of checks and balances to protect citizens from abuses of power and the ever changing tides of politics.
However, one branch of government is viewed as decidedly less important than the other two by many Kentucky voters. Based on voting history, participation in the election of judges almost always trails that of the members of the executive and legislative branches.
The Partnership for Commonsense Justice works to inform voters of important judicial issues and elections and encourages them to participate. You are invited to join us in our efforts to assure Kentucky of the fairest and most efficient judicial system possible. |
