Our mission statement

"The Partnership for Commonsense Justice - a coalition of businesses and business groups, non-profit organizations, and like-minded individuals dedicated to advancing Kentucky - recognizes the need for fairness and excellence in Kentucky's legal system.

The Partnership will work to educate its members, their employees, and the public on the importance of judicial elections and judicial issues to the commonwealth's economic vitality and to the long-term quality of life and economic opportunities of all Kentuckians."

Our guiding principles

The Partnership's board of directors has made several fundamental decisions about the principles that will guide the coalition's conduct and activities:

Positive and constructive involvement

The Partnership will undertake constructive actions that positively contribute to the public debate and dialogue and to the electoral process. We will not engage in negative speech about candidates or sponsor "attack ads" of any sort.

Non-partisan

The Partnership is a strictly non-partisan coalition.

Business leadership for Kentucky

We are business persons and organizations concerned about Kentucky's future and endeavoring to make a positive difference.

What will the Partnership do?

  • Candidate Research - to evaluate candidates for judicial offices.
  • Grassroots Education and Public Relations - to inform our members, friends and the general public about the findings of our research and analyses on the important issues in our state.

What kind of organization is the Partnership?
